Our Ethos

 

At Kiddy Care our ethos is to provide a first class facility in a secure, happy, imaginative and stimulating environment whilst promoting the Early Years Foundation Stage.  

 

Our aim at Kiddy Care is to be the best by meeting the needs of both parents and children.  The only way we can achieve this is by believing in the following:

 

1) All Children have the right to the highest quality of care and education regardless of their race, gender, ethnic origin, religion or disability.

 

2) We ensure equality of access to the Nursery for all parents, carers, staff, children and visitors regardless of race, gender, ethnic origin, religion, disability or marital status.

 

3) We invest in all our staff to have an equal right to train and develop in order to bring the highest quality and standards to our childcare provision ensuring they meet the needs of the Nursery, the registration and the 2006 Children’s Act.

 

4) All parents have the right to be involved with the care and education of their child.

 

5) We believe in quality and high standards and aim to work in partnership with other relevant agencies to meet the requirements set out.

 

6) We follow and will comply with all legal requirements of OFSTED Registration.

Curriculum and Learning

 

Kiddy Care Nursery takes pride in providing unique learning programmes for children that is based on their interest both at home and at the nursery.  When your child enrols at the nursery we will involve you to fill in our ‘All about Me’ assessment programme. This programme will cover Prime and Specific areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. (EYFS)

 

There are seven areas of the EYFS which covers Prime and Specific areas of learning and development. All areas of learning and development are important and interconnected but there are three areas that are particularly important for children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for their learning, these are:

 

• Communication and language

• Physical development

• Personal, social and emotional development.

We care

 

We at Kiddy Care nursery, care about your child health & development that’s why we work closely with our local health visitor to conduct a 2 year progress check for your child before their third birthday.  You will be invited to attend this session where you will be able to discuss your child developmental progress as well as share any concerns you may have.

Learning

 

Kiddy Care nursery provides children with variety of experiences that extends their learning thorough challenging and stimulating activities all which are recorded in their individual Learning Journals which is shared with you regularly. We encourage children to behave, respect each other, value their opinions and share ideas thus promoting ‘British Values’.

The delivery of our curriculum is not just geared to indoors but extends to outdoors and this is enhanced by bringing the indoor learning to outdoors.

 

Outings

 

We believe that children need to learn about the local community and therefore we will take children out on regular outings to the local farms theme parks and different places of worships so that children learn about different cultures.

Our nursery is located in Goodmayes within the London borough of Redbridge. The nursery has great access to public transport such as local buses and Overground station, with Goodmayes station less than a minute away.

 

Kiddy Care Nursery is a 35 place setting catering for children aged 3 mths -5 years inside a former church building which we recently acquired for a childcare provision.

 

The owner and manager of the nursery is supported  with a team of friendly and fully qualified staff who are all dedicated to work in partnership with parents and families to support all the needs at Kiddy Care nursery.
